Georgetown Household Hazardous Waste Collection Events
Drop-off days for Georgetown residents who pay for trash service through the city. Held a few times a year, 9am to noon, limited to 500 cars; registration is required. The next date, in 2027, is not set yet. Bring ID that matches your utility account.

Only for Georgetown residents who pay for trash service (TDS) through the City of Georgetown. No businesses.
People from other areas are turned away.
Household waste only. No business waste.

- Must pay for solid waste service through the City of Georgetown
- Limited to 500 cars per event
- No trailers
- No construction, commercial or landscape waste
When to go
Usually held in January, May and September, 9am to noon, at the Georgetown Municipal Complex. The next event is in 2027; the date is not set yet. Enter from Industrial Ave when coming from Austin Ave.
You need an appointment.

Limits per visit
- Used motor oil: 5 gallons per vehicle
- Paint: 10 gallons per vehicle
- Gasoline: 5 gallons per vehicle
- 500 cars per event

Good to know
Stay in your car; staff unload from the trunk or back seat. Bring items in marked, sealed containers, ideally the originals. Unknown chemicals and open containers are turned away.
