Front-porch pickup for Cedar Park homes that pay the HHW fee on their city utility bill. Book online or by phone by midnight Wednesday; pickup is Friday, 8am to 6pm. Takes electronics. No needles, medicines or propane.

How to book

Pickups every Friday between 8am and 6pm. Book by midnight the Wednesday before.

You need an appointment.

Book online or call HHW Solutions at 888-694-4978 by midnight Wednesday. You get a confirmation email Thursday morning. Leave items on your front porch, not at the curb.

If you live in an apartment or don't get city trash service: Williamson County residents can use the county's collection days, and Travis County residents can use the City of Austin Recycle and Reuse Center.

Good to know

Put out only the items you booked. Keep chemicals in labeled original containers with spill-proof lids; cooking and motor oil can go in any screw-top container. Put several small items in a labeled plastic bag. Wipe personal data from electronics. Never mix chemicals.
