• Containers must be sealed and labeled

How to book

Year-round, by appointment. Put items out before 7am on your pickup day. You do not need to be home.

You need an appointment.

Book online by entering your address and the items, or call WM at 1-800-449-7587. WM mails you a kit with a bag and labels (not needed if you only have electronics, batteries or bulbs).

Needles and sharps: yes. Put needles, syringes and lancets in a rigid, puncture-resistant, sealed container and write "needles/sharps" on it. No loose sharps in the bag. No batteries or medicines in the sharps container. A red sharps container or a juice, laundry detergent or soda bottle works..

Good to know

Place items on the ground near your front door or garage, where they can be seen from the street. Not at the curb or next to your trash cart. Leave the gate open. Label anything not in its original container. Tape the ends of lithium and rechargeable batteries.
