Houston Clear Lake/Ellington Airport Recycling Center
Houston residents can drop off latex paint, used motor oil, antifreeze and batteries, plus electronics, tires and recycling. Open every day, 8am to 8pm. No oil-based paint or chemicals. Bring a Texas ID.
Can I use it?
For Houston residents. A Texas ID is enough for recycling drop-off. Business waste is not accepted.
Household waste only. No business waste.

Where their pages disagree
- Recycling Centers page: B.O.P.A. (batteries, oil, latex paint, antifreeze) accepted, but its not-accepted list also says 'hazardous materials: chemicals, oil, fuel'. Houston HHW page: bring used oil, oil filters, antifreeze, latex paint and car or rechargeable batteries to the Westpark center. We followed: Oil, latex paint, antifreeze and batteries accepted; chemicals, fuel and oil-based paint not.
