Houston Kingwood Recycling Center
Houston residents can drop off latex paint, used motor oil, antifreeze and batteries, plus electronics, tires and recycling. Open Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 6pm. No oil-based paint or chemicals. Bring a Texas ID.
Can I use it?
For Houston residents. A Texas ID is enough for recycling drop-off. Business waste is not accepted.
Household waste only. No business waste.

Where their pages disagree
- Recycling Centers page: B.O.P.A. (batteries, oil, latex paint, antifreeze) accepted, but its not-accepted list also says 'hazardous materials: chemicals, oil, fuel'. Houston HHW page: bring used oil, oil filters, antifreeze, latex paint and car or rechargeable batteries to the Westpark center. We followed: Oil, latex paint, antifreeze and batteries accepted; chemicals, fuel and oil-based paint not.
