Houston Westpark Recycling Center
Houston residents can drop off latex paint, used motor oil, antifreeze, and car and rechargeable batteries, plus electronics and recycling. Open Tuesday to Saturday, 8am to 5pm. No oil-based paint or chemicals. Bring a Texas ID.
Can I use it?
For Houston residents. A Texas ID is enough for recycling drop-off. Business waste is not accepted.
Household waste only. No business waste.

- Arrive at least 15 to 30 minutes before closing

Where their pages disagree
- Recycling Centers page: B.O.P.A. (batteries, oil, latex paint, antifreeze) accepted, but its not-accepted list also says 'hazardous materials: chemicals, oil, fuel'. Houston HHW page: bring used oil, oil filters, antifreeze, latex paint and car or rechargeable batteries to the Westpark center.
