Hazardous waste drop-off in Rosenberg for households. Fort Bend County residents pay $1 a gallon, up to 14 gallons a year. Others pay $1 a pound. Open for hazardous waste on Mondays and the first Saturday of the month. No propane tanks or fire extinguishers.

For households only. Fort Bend County residents pay the county rate. People from outside the county can use it but pay by the pound. No business waste.
Live somewhere else? You can still come: $1.00 per pound for hazardous waste and latex paint; $0.50 per pound for electronics, appliances and tires.

When to go
Hazardous waste: Mondays 9am to 4pm and the first Saturday of each month 8am to 2pm. If a Monday is a county holiday, bring it on Tuesday. If the first Saturday is a holiday, come the second Saturday. General recycling: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday to Saturday, 8am to 4pm. Closed Wednesdays, Sundays and county holidays.

Good to know
The fee is based on the size of the container, not how full it is. Keep products in their original containers, never mix them, and put leaking containers inside a bigger one. No debit cards.
