Monthly front-porch pickup for Schertz homes, paid through a small line on your trash bill. Book online, then set items on your porch by 8am on pickup day. Next pickup: Monday, October 19. No sharps, medicine or propane tanks.

- Small containers must fit in a box no larger than 20 x 14 x 14 inches

Good to know
Set items on your front porch, not at the curb. Keep chemicals in their original labeled containers (motor oil and cooking oil can go in any container with a screw-top lid). Lids must be spill-proof. Put small items in a labeled plastic bag. You don't need to be home. Items set out without a booking are not picked up.

- City page: 972-440-2040. TCEQ contacts PDF: (903) 217-8090 (named HHW Solutions staff contact). We followed: 972-440-2040 from the city's page.
- Frontier Waste's Schertz page lists 'Ammunition or Fireworks' and 'Propane/Helium Tanks' as accepted and says paint 'must be dried'; the HHW Solutions booking form also offers those boxes. HHW Solutions' accepted list refuses explosives and propane/butane cylinders. We followed: HHW Solutions' accepted/prohibited lists (the contractor page the City links).
- Schertz FAQ defines HHW to include electronics; Frontier's Schertz page and the booking form list 'Electronic Products'. HHW Solutions' accepted list does not mention electronics. We followed: true.
