Southlake Door-Side Hazardous Waste Pickup (CWD)
Southlake households can have paint, chemicals, motor oil, car batteries, fluorescent tubes and TVs picked up at the door once a month, on the first or third Wednesday. Call CWD at least two weeks ahead for a kit. The cost is part of your trash bill.

How to book
First and third Wednesday of each month.
You need an appointment.
Call CWD at 972-392-9300, option 2, at least two weeks ahead. CWD mails you a kit with a bag. Pack it, then set it by your front door by 7am on your pickup day.

- Aerosol cans
- Motor oil
- Car batteries
- Fluorescent bulbs and tubes
- TVs, computers and electronics

Good to know
Use only the bag CWD sends and close it tight. Do not put pool chemicals in the bag, since they can start a fire. Put electronics, car batteries and fluorescent tubes in a cardboard box next to the bag. Set it by your front door or garage where it can be seen from the street, never at the curb.
