Little Elm Clean & Green Waste Collection and Recycling Event
Twice-a-year drop-off day for Little Elm residents at the Public Works Service Center. Bring your current water bill and photo ID. Takes paint, oil, car fluids, pool and cleaning chemicals, bulbs, car batteries, electronics, appliances and tires. The fall 2026 event is over.

Held twice a year, 8am to noon. The last one was Saturday, September 26, 2026.
No appointment needed.
What they take
- Old paint
- Motor oil
- Car fluids (antifreeze, brake fluid)
- Pool chemicals
- Cleaners and household chemicals
- Fluorescent bulbs and tubes
- Car batteries
- Weed and bug killers, fertilizer
- Cooking oil
- TVs, computers and electronics
- Fridges and AC units (Freon)
- Tires

Where it is
Good to know
The drop site is near the Animal Shelter. Metal, branches and bulk items go to the Courtesy Drop Site, which opens at noon after the event.
