Dallas County Home Chemical Collection Center (HC3)
Free drop-off for residents of Dallas, Garland, Irving, Mesquite, Richardson and 10 other member cities plus unincorporated Dallas County. Bring your license and a utility bill. Everyone else pays at least $100. Open Tuesday to Thursday and two Saturdays a month.
Can I use it?
Free for people who live in a member city or in unincorporated Dallas County. People from other cities can use it for a fee.
Live somewhere else? You can still come: $100 minimum.

When to go
Tuesday 9am to 7:30pm. Wednesday and Thursday 8:30am to 5pm. 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month 9am to 3pm. Closed Sunday, Monday and Friday, and on county holidays.

Good to know
The building is on the east side of Plano Road, about one mile north of LBJ Freeway (I-635), between Miller Road and Forest Lane.

Where their pages disagree
- Dallas County HHW page (Sep 2026): non-residents pay a minimum of $100. City of Dallas home chemical page and Highland Park's HC3 fact sheet: minimum $95. We followed: $100 minimum from the county's own page.
- TCEQ contacts PDF lists Wilmer among HC3 cities. Dallas County's own member list does not include Wilmer. We followed: Left Wilmer out; Wilmer residents have WM At Your Door pickup.
- Richardson's HC3 page: Tuesday 9am to 7pm, Wednesday and Thursday 9am to 5pm. University Park's page lists no Thursday hours and says closed Thursday. Dallas County page: Tuesday 9am to 7:30pm, Wednesday and Thursday 8:30am to 5pm. We followed: Dallas County hours.
