Allen Household Chemical Collection (home pickup)
Allen residents can schedule a household chemical pickup in the MyAllen app or by calling 214-509-4551. Up to 50 pounds per pickup. Needles, medical waste and ammunition are not taken.

Have your items out by 7am on your scheduled day.
You need an appointment.
Schedule in the MyAllen app (account needed) or call Community Services at 214-509-4551.

- Weed and bug killers, fertilizer

Needles, syringes and lancets can go in your trash inside a hard plastic or metal container with a taped lid, placed in a dark trash bag. Mercury thermostats can be dropped off at Allen City Hall. For ammunition call Allen Police at 214-509-4263; for fireworks call the Fire Marshal at 214-509-4400. Walgreens has medicine drop kiosks.
Good to know
Chemicals mixed with a lot of water are not taken. Put rusted or leaking containers inside a bucket or bag. Label anything not in its original container.
